IL Sen Dick Durbin To Replace Janet Napolitano At Homeland Security?

LibertyNEWS.com’s Joe Calandra earlier reported the resignation of Janet Napolitano from the Department of Homeland Security. Of course, the next question becomes… who will Obama put in charge of DHS?

Illinois Review is hearing rumors there on the ground that it could be Senator Dick Durbin.

Rumor is Obama may look at replacing Napolitano with U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin. Stay tuned.

While this is only rumor at this point, moving Dick Durbin to DHS somewhat seems logical. Durbin has always been and will always be completely willing to carry water for Obama’s radical agenda. Illinois chatter has, for some time now, provided the idea that Durbin would in fact move out of the Senate after the election next year. The intention, as the thought goes, was for him to run his election (he’ll be very difficult to defeat in Illinois) then step down so another liberal could be appointed to hold the seat for the remainder of the term.
