GOP offers to help keep WWII Memorial open

USA Today –

WASHINGTON — The Republican National Committee is offering to pay security expenses so the World War II Memorial is open for visitors during the government shutdown.

Reince Priebus, national chairman of the GOP, announced enough money has been set aside to hire five security guards for the memorial.
