New poll numbers are out for the hotly contested 81st Illinois House race.
According to a poll conducted by the firm Fabrizio Lee, conservative challenger Keith Matune has opened up a lead on incumbent Republican State Rep. Ron Sandack as the contest enters the final weekend before the Republican Primary Election on Tuesday, March 18.
The survey, commissioned by Liberty Principles PAC, was conducted March 11-12. The sample was 300 likely GOP primary voters, and has a margin of error of +/- 5.7%. The results:
